Where is the most of the game going these days? Are there any decent websites/networks with some traffic, or only pokerstars left?

Stars still have like 80% of all the players. But now there are few other huge rooms - 888, Party, iPoker, Micro and lots of small networks and rooms. But I think that the future of online poker will belong to rooms like Uibet - rooms, where all additional software is forbidden.

It all goes to become a kind of casino gambling.pepe said:↑is micro still running? I thought they were dead long time ago. do they still have the same software as years ago? After that Micro bacame really small but they still use the same soft. The only network that died last year is Ongame. RIP.
I think it is quite impossible to win money playing poker our days. You need more luck than to win at slots.
HOV said:↑UibetClick to expand...you mean unibet? are they really forbid software? I too think that software and statistic gathering programs, in a way, contributed to poker being almost "dead" today. I was shoked when pokerstars closed heads up tables, and I joked that day: "well, maybe they will open slots soon", and guess what, they did opened a casino, I couldn't believe it.

It really depends what you want achieve by playing pokerFor cash games:If you want to be sure that there is always action go PokerstarsIf you want to grind low/middle stakes you must choose low skill players poker room with rake back at least 20% (there are alo of small rooms compared to PS with possibility to earn some chunk)For MTTs:Pokerstars is a must as you can fill your schedule with plenty of tournaments if you want to grind itIf just for fun just choose something from middle like 888, micro
I use to play tournaments only. It can give you a big. Same time you can only double or triple up playing cash.
Not really. There is pokerstars, and then 888. The rake is high, and the games are hard to beat with seating scripts, bots, and cheating every which way. MTTs are still beatable, and there are some bitcoin sites like betcoin.ag to play on, but it's tough. I think WPN network is the most active skin with fishy Americans on it, and that's betcoin, ACR, True Poker, and a few other site.I would recommend to just play tournaments on pokerstars and to expect to lose money. The highest ROIs in holdem are around 20%. It's very hard, but it's a lottery you might have an edge in.
